1) Restart Outlook and Check If the Internet is

Working 

The first thing you need to do is restart the Outlook app. When you see this error, you can close the Outlook app. Go to Task Manager CTRL+SHIFT+ ESC and finish Outlook Service
  • Ensure you have a proper Internet connection
  • Check your email to see if it is still working.

2) Check Account Settings

 You can also ensure that your account settings are correct. Use the Outlook Web app to check settings. It will examine the connection issues. If you can log in with OWA settings; then the problem could be something different.

 

3) Create a New Outlook Profile using Auto Account (Key Step)

When you tackle this error, “Outlook data file can’t be opened, creating a new Profile leads to solutions, as the old one may get corrupted. Now follow the steps to create a new profile.

 

a) Go to the Start menu and search Control Panel
b) In the Control Panel, select large icons in the View by option.

f) Now enter basic details like Name, Email & Password in the Email, and Password in the Add Window and click Ok

Also, create a new profile using Windows 10 or 11 Settings
Open Window Settings with Windows + I key on the keyboard and Go to Accounts > Email Account
Move the File to the Default Location
Many users report that moving the file to another location fixes the issues. When you move the file to its default and original location and restart the computer, you can fix the issue.

4) Repair Outlook using the Repair Tool 

Now go ahead and repair Outlook data files. You can go to Control Panel> Mail and select Repair Option.
Wait some time to see if it works, and check if the issue you are facing is resolved or not.


5) Check the Delivery Location

The user may experience this error. If the Outlook data file can't be accessed because the delivery location is wrong.

a)Go Control panel > Select large in view and select Mail
b) Press Profiles and add button
c)Opt for Manually configure settings and click Next
d)Select POP, IMAP, or Internet Email > Next
e)Now enter account details > and Check account settings
f) Select the Existing Outlook Data File Option. Select Browse to select the available PST file.
g) Click Next and Finish to see if it is working for you
h)Now shoot an email using your Outlook account if it is working or not.
